"Valley of Gangala" is an ancient valley formed by the collapse of a limestone cave hundreds of thousands of years ago.
Excavations are continuing due to the possibility that it may have been the home of the "Minatogawa Men", a human race that lived there 20,000 years ago, and so far the world's oldest fish hook, dating back 23,000 years, has been discovered.
The valley covers an area of about 45,000m2, and the walking distance is about 1km, creating a vast prehistoric world that can only be discovered by stepping into it.
